Michigan Transfer Agreement

Use the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) to complete a minimum of 30 semester hour of college-level credit which will fulfill a portion of the lower-division general education requirements at participating four-year colleges or universities. Students must earn a C in each course being applied to the MTA.

The terms of this agreement have been embedded in all AA and AS programs of study. Students in AAAS programs who think they will want to complete a Bachelor’s degree in the future should consult an advisor to ensure these courses are included in their programs of study.
