ALH 145
Prepares students to work in a medical office assisting licensed, certified or registered health care professionals. Allows students to perform assigned duties in both administrative and clinical procedures in an off campus, approved medical clinic for a total of 160 uncompensated hours. The work experience is supported by instructor site visits and classroom seminars. The 20 hour seminar reviews the externship experience and discusses job readiness, resume preparation certification, job seeking and continuing education.
