Students must earn a minimum of 60 credit hours, all courses must be completed with a grade of C or better, and have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to earn a degree. Students must also take any required third‐party exams, especially in the AAAS concentrations, such as NOCTI, NCLEX, MTA, and MOS.

This program incorporates a recognized industry certification as part of your degree program. You will study for and complete two separate Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exams (included in the cost of tuition).

* Prior to clinical experience in the Nurse Assistant course, a criminal background investigation will be required of students. Any negative factors in students’ backgrounds may limit placement in one or more agencies. Attempts will be made to adjust for this limitation, but if accommodations cannot be made, continuation in the Nurse Assistant course will not be allowed.
