Prerequisite: MTH 223 - Calculus II
For students pursuing mathematically rigorous STEM pathways such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physical science. Curriculum will include functions of multiple variables, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, line and surface integrals, and integration theorems generalizing the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Skills developed will include mastery of basic calculus techniques, spatial reasoning, and mathematical abstraction.
