MTH 222 - Calculus I Offered FL Lecture- 5 5 credit hrs/5 contact hrs Prerequisite: MTH 161 - College Algebra with Trigonometry with “C” or better (2.0 out of a 4.0 scale) or appropriate assessment score For students pursuing mathematically rigorous STEM pathways such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physical science. Curriculum will include limits, continuity, differentiation, and integration as applied to algebraic (linear, quadratic, rational) and transcendental (exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric) functions. Skills developed will include differentiation and integration techniques, and critical thinking to solve complex problems.
