Medical Office Biller/Coder prepares students to work in a medical office setting, specifically dealing with procedural coding for insurance billing purposes. Completion of OIS 105 and 106 prepares students to take the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam through AAPC, an industry-recognized credential.
Students must have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to earn a degree or certificate.
