SURG 150 - Basic Operative Procedures

This course introduces the student to a wide variety of basic types of medications that are related to the care of the surgical patient. The student will have the understanding of basic types of anesthesia, anesthesia agents, indications and contraindications of medications, and the calculations of maximum dosages of various drugs. This course will discuss how medication side effects, adverse effects, and usages within the operating room.
