SURG 200 - Surgical Specialty/Prof Prep

This course focuses on preparing students for lifelong learning. This course is designed to help prepare the student to produce a resume, cover letter, and interview skills to obtain an entry-level position in the health care setting as a surgical technologist. This course will also prepare students to sit for the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting National Certification exam. Students will review program and clinical materials in form of certification questions in order to prepare for the certification exam. Students are required to sit for the National CST Exam before the completion of the program.
