ROB 150 - Introduction to Industrial Robotics

This course covers the basics of industrial robotics, such as electronics, controls, mechanics, the classification of end-effectors, forward and inverse kinematics, and robot programming. Students utilize FANUC Roboguide simulation software to program and simulate industrial production scenarios.

  • Explain industrial robotic mechanics concepts.
  • Explain industrial robotic electronics concepts.
  • Analyze various control algorithms being implemented in industrial robots.

  • Simulate operation of FANUC industrial robot using Roboguide software.
