Prerequisite:

Prerequisite/Corequisite: ART 155 Digital Image Design with “C” or better (2.0 out of a 4.0 scale)

Additionally minimum one from the list below:

DART 100 Introuctrion to Computer Animation with “C” or better (2.0 out of a 4.0 scale)
DART 150 Introduction to Game Design with “C” or better (2.0 out of a 4.0 scale)
DART 180 Digital Video Editing with “C” or better (2.0 out of a 4.0 scale)
DART 250 Multimedia with “C” or better (2.0 out of a 4.0 scale)

This course provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate mastery of various media by developing a semester-long, comprehensive design project. Alongside the capstone project, students will compile their previously produced work into a cohesive portfolio.

Student Learning Outcomes:

Analyze existing design work to inform the creation of a capstone project and portfolio.
Construct a project management plan for a capstone project incorporating industry-standard production processes, deliverables, and timelines.
Demonstrate mastery of prototyping and presentation formats using industry-standard software and tools in a capstone project.
Create a portfolio demonstrating design and communication skills that can be customized for multiple audiences.
