BUS 103 - Introduction to Customer Service Offered FL Lecture- 2 2 credit hrs/2 contact hrs This course prepares students to apply positive customer service skills to both internal and external customers. Students will develop skills in verbal and non-verbal communication, positive attitudes, listening, professional telecommunication techniques, and conflict management. Student Learning Outcomes: Analyze various customer service career opportunities.
Define what it takes to provide outstanding customer service.
Define and explain internal and external customers.
Apply problem solving techniques in customer service.
Identify methods to incorporate motivation and leadership in the customer service function.
Communicate business concepts, methods, and evidence clearly in written and spoken reports.
Exhibit ethical/professional behavior in and out of the classroom in attendance, conduct, assignment completion, teamwork, and constructive peer feedback.
