Theories of acting; practice in developing basic acting skills and communicating the content and meaning of a script.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Preparation of the actor’s tools through various exercises, theater games, and improvisations. The student actor will develop physio-vocal technique and strengthen skills in the use of imagination, concentration, and relaxation by creating characters from plays and through group and individual exercises.
