MTH 121 - Intermediate Algebra

Prerequisite: Appropriate placement score or corequisite of MTH 021 - Algebra Essentials
For students pursuing mathematically rigorous STEM pathways such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physical science. Curriculum will include an introduction to algebraic functions (linear, quadratic, rational, radical) and transcendental functions (exponential and logarithmic). Skills developed will include simplifying expressions, solving equations, and graphical techniques.
