The student will use a dictionary to look up words to determine:

- Capitalization
The student will write grammatically correct sentences by identifying:
- Nouns
- Verbs
- Pronouns
- Adjectives
- Adverbs
- Prepositions
The student will use authentic reading material:
- Current newspaper and magazine articles
- Job applications
- Resume writing
The student will increase her or his vocabulary:
- Through authentic reading material, writing, and conversation
