Provides skills in emergency preparedness, civil disorders, tactical operations and human relations.

Student Learning Outcomes:

Interact effectively in circumstances involving cultural, ethcial, and interpersonal issues.
Perform all duties in accordance with state and federal workplace laws.
Apply the legal rights of crime victims.
Safely approach and resolve situations involving environmental crimes, large-scale emergencies, terrorism, and explosives.
Legally and tactically control civil disorder incidents.
Perform tactical operations, such as apprehending felony offenders, searching buildings, and responding to incidents of active violence.
