COR 216 - Client Growth and Development Offered WI Lecture- 3 3 credit hrs/3 contact hrs This course will examine normal versus criminal behavior, human development and criminal patterns, specific problems, and intervention strategies.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Identify differences in normal, deviant, and criminal behavior, and the influence of early environments on each.
- Identify behavioral problems that are specific to criminal offenders, and their relationship to medical, psychological and sociological issues.
- Identify intervention strategies.
- Apply concepts of community treatment and alternatives to institutionalization.
