ART 112 - Studio Art: Drawing II

Prerequisite: ART 111 - Studio Art: Drawing I or instructor permission
Further development of drawing and compositional skills. Traditional and experimental drawing materials and techniques will be explored with an emphasis on creative problem solving and personal expression.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Refine and expand concepts introduced in creating visual art. Demonstrate visual communication skills and a personal approach to the art-making process. Identify and apply the components of figure drawing such as gesture, mass, volume, foreshortening and proportion. Show professionalism during critiques and portfolio presentations. Apply creative problem solving skills in the development of artwork.
