ALH 114 - Growth and Development: Life Span Offered FL, WI Lecture- 3 3 credit hrs/3 contact hrs Study of human growth and development through all stages of life. Included are concepts of motor, intellectual, emotional, and physical development as well as appropriate life style practices to maintain optimum health in each stage of life.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Compare and contrast the key assumptions and empirical research currently presented in life span development.
- Discuss the relevance and application of evidence used to support psychological claims.
- Apply scientific reasoning skills to evaluate claims about human growth and development.
- Communicate concepts and methods and demonstrate evidence-based writing skills.
- Exhibit ethical/professional behavior through regular attendance, timely submission of work and use of constructive feedback.
