Prerequisite: Current Emergency Medical Responder License or students who recently completed the West Shore EMR course and are in the process of obtaining their license
Corequisites: EMS 110 - EMR to EMT Matriculation, EMS 111 - EMR to EMT Matriculation Lab

This course provides information about the pre-hospital management of medical conditions at the advanced life support level. Emphasis is placed on pathophysiology, recognition of signs and symptoms of Medical and Trauma patients, review of basic life support management techniques, anatomy and physiology, and patient assessment.
