Students must earn a minimum of 60 credit hours, all courses must be completed with a grade of C or better, and have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to earn a degree. Students must also take any required third‐party exams, especially in the AAAS concentrations, such as NOCTI or NCLEX.

* Prior to clinical experience in the Nurse Assistant course, a criminal background investigation will be required of students. Any negative factors in students’ backgrounds may limit placement in one or more agencies. Attempts will be made to adjust for this limitation, but if accommodations cannot be made, continuation in the Nurse Assistant course will not be allowed. A current American Heart Association (AHA) Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card is required.
+Anatomy & Physiology I & II or Introduction to Human Body must be completed within the past (8) years.
