The goal of WSCC’s Software Development Certificate is to provide entry‐level Information Technology course work in programming, web page development, and network technology. This certificate provides a solid foundation for students that plan to become employed and those planning to pursue an associate’s degree in Network Services. Students following this program will have the opportunity to learn the information necessary to earn Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) and Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification.
This progam is pending approval by the Department of Education, and is therefore not yet a Financial Aid eligible program.
Students must have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to earn a degree or certificate.
Gainful Employment Disclosure
West Shore Community College has elected to opt in to the early rescission of the Gainful Employment regulations, as permitted by the US Department of Education.
