Cardiovascular Technology, AAAS

This program provides students the opportunity to develop skills in the preparation and monitoring of the cardiac patient during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like cardiac pacemaker insertion and stent implants. Students in the program complete online CVT courses, along with in-person lab practice, through one of the EPiC Consortium colleges. Throughout the program, students are provided with hands-on clinical experiences in cooperation with various hospitals under the direction of the Program Director, program faculty, clinical instructor, and technologists.
