UPDATE IN PROGRESS – PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR MORE INFORMATION
This is an example of how a student can use the electives of the Associate of Science degree to take courses of interest that relate to the health field. The degree awarded would be an Associate of Science.
* In completing a degree in the healthcare, students are encouraged to take a sampling of courses in order to identify their preferred area of specialization, such as allied health, nursing, physical/occupational therapy, veterinary, and pre‐medical. Students should meet with an academic advisor to determine which courses will best assist them to make a decision regarding a specific career in healthcare and/or in transferring to a college or university of their choice. The terms of the Michigan Transfer Agreement have been embedded in all AA and AS programs.
Students must earn a minimum of 60 credit hours and have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to earn a degree.
