Mechatronics is the integration of electronic, mechanical, and computing systems used to facilitate advanced manufacturing techniques. The foundation of mechatronic skills offered in the Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing program will equip the student with skills and knowledge of circuitry, motors, fluid power, programmable logic controllers, and robotics. The student will learn using modern industry-standard equipment and techniques to ensure proficiency in current industrial practices. The program also offers a flexible variety of electives in welding, computer networking, precision machining, electronics, mechanical technologies, and manufacturing, so the student can tailor their program to fit a desired skill set or an employer’s needs.
