Michigan State University’s Institute of Agricultural Technology (IAT) in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) has partnered with WSCC to assist students in earning a MSU certificate while also working toward an associate’s degree from West Shore. Students take credits from WSCC which are recognized by MSU toward completion of a certificate, while simultaneously taking courses through MSU. Students must earn a minimum of 60 credit hours and have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to earn a degree.

    • AE 131 Agricultural Water Resource Management or HRT 218 Irrigation Systems for Horticulture 3 credit hrs
    • AE 143 Practical Application of Technology for Agriculture or MSU HRT Elective 3 credit hrs
    • AT 293 Professional Internship in Agricultural Technology 3 credit hrs
    • Choose one MSU CANR Elective  (AFRE 222 or AFRE 225 Recommended) 3 credit hrs
