Students who are unsure of a specific degree or certificate they want to pursue should begin here. Following this pathway could lead to a general Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree; contact your advisor if at any point you would like to change your program of study.

Courses by Placement/Transfer
The following courses may be prerequisites for your program depending upon your placement scores or transfer evaluation. Advisors can assist you to integrate these into your program of study during your first semester at West Shore. Contact Student Services at 231.843.5510.
Total: 15-16 Credit Hrs | 19-20 Contact Hrs
After completing Semester 1 courses, students should consider if this Pathway Program still meets their education and career goals.
- If a student wishes to move into a specific academic program, they should initiate this change by requesting a program change to your advisor and begin taking the courses in that academic program. If you only plan to pursue a Certificate, you should have your advisor change your program and you should follow the Networking or Software Development Certificate requirements.
- Students who wish to remain in this Pathway Program or who are still deciding on an academic program should take the Semester II courses listed below.

- Students who wish to remain in this Pathway Program or who are still deciding on an academic program should take the Semester 3 courses listed below.

After completing Semester 3 courses, students should be working with their Academic Advisor and/or Faculty Mentor, or working off of a course selection plan developed with your Academic Advisor/Faculty Mentor.
