Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Eligible students must posses at least an Associate’s Degree as a Radiologic Technologist and have earned an ARRT certification. This program is offered in collaboration with other Michigan community colleges through the Michigan Colleges Online (MCO) collaborative. Didactic coursework is completed online, and clinical coursework is completed at a facility local to the student.

The Computed Tomography (CT) Program prepares students on the use of computed tomography equipment to produce cross sectional images of patient’s internal organs and tissues, to correctly interpret a provider’s CT order, to administer contrast agents as ordered, and to position the patient so precise images are captured to aid in the diagnosis of medical conditions. Prepares student to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART-CT) exam.

  • CTG 230 - CT Procedures and Pathophysiology 3 credit hrs
  • CTG 240 - CT Clinical Practice I 3 credit hrs

Semester 2: MCO Courses


  • CTG 220 - CT Instrumentation 2 credit hrs
  • CTG 231 - CT Procedures and Pathophysiology II 3 credit hrs
