Criminal Justice, AAAS

Students must earn a minimum of 60 credit hours, earn no more than two grades lower than a C, and have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to earn a degree. Students must also take any required third‐party exams, especially in the AAAS concentrations, such as NOCTI, NCLEX, MTA, and MOS.

Screening: A student must be at least 18 years old upon entry, must be finger printed, undergo a physical exam, physical fitness test, board interview, and a reading/writing exam. A student muse earl at least a grade of “C” (2.0) in each of the 200‐level Criminal Justice courses in order to be eligible for police licensure. Upon completion of this degree, student are eligible for licensure by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards.
