Prerequisite: CIT 245 - Fundamentals of Networking with “C” or better (2.0 out of a 4.0 scale)
This course offers an introduction to the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches. Students will learn to configure and troubleshoot routers and switches along with resolving common issues. Virtual Local Area Networks, Access Control Lists, advanced routing concepts, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, and Network Address Translation for IPv4 will be covered.
