An in-depth study of pathologies of the cardiovascular system, their physiological symptoms, and respective outcomes. This course includes a detailed discussion of congenital and acquired cardiovascular pathologies.

Student Learning Outcomes:
- Explain the process, clinical considerations, and common sites of atherosclerosis.
- Describe the clinical appearance of coronary artery and structural heart diseases.
- Explain cardiac and systemic considerations in specific populations.
- Explain the process and clinical considerations of peripheral arterial disease.
- Explain and identify symptoms of heart failure, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, pericardial disease and common cardiomyopathies.
- Describe and identify common congenital heart diseases.
