EMS 299 - Paramedic Field Internship

Prerequisite: Completion of all EMS courses in the Paramedic AAAS degree with a “C” or better (2.0 out of a 4.0 scale) prior to September 5
Paramedic students are assigned to an advanced life support agency for a 270-hour field internship experience. Students are assigned to a paramedic training officer to provide total patient care and to be responsible for other professional duties under direct supervision with continuous evaluation of the student’s progress. Oversight is provided by the Faculty and the Physician Director.
