This course is a survey of the basic fundamentals on which the field of business is built, how it is organized, what forces influence it, and future developments. It introduces the primary functions of business as it relates to for-profit and not-for-profit organization whether they are large or small. The course also offers insight into laws, business ethics, globalization, and social responsibility.
