Emergency Telecommunicator Certificate

This program is pending approval by the Department of Education, and is therefore not yet a Financial Aid eligible program.
This program is designed to train individuals to become an emergency dispatcher. Students completing this certificate are trained and credentialed to work as 911 operators/dispatchers, with additional employment opportunities in areas such as ambulance, trucking, OnStar, 211/411 services, Poison Control, taxi services, or TDD. Students must have a high school diploma or GED, pass a criminal background check, have a valid operator license, and test into ENG 111 - English Composition I .
