All courses in semesters 1 - 3 must be successfully completed with a “C” or better (2.0 out of a 4.0 scale) and students must have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to earn a certificate. Students must also take any required third-party exams leading to a credential and/or outcome assessment for this program, especially in the AAAS concentrations, such as NOCTI, NCLEX, MTA, and MOS.
Gainful Employment Disclosure
The Department of Education passed an initiative designed to protect students from taking on unsustainable debt in order to pay for their education. The data is provided for students of WSCC so students can make an informed choice about a program and the potential for gainful employment of that program. For WSCC, these are programs that are less than an associate’s degree. Click here to view the Medical Assistant Gainful Employment information.
