Over the last decade an increased awareness about the importance of early childhood education has led to the distinctive instruction of young children. As a student of early childhood education you will learn how to teach young children and advocate for them and their families while developing a professional portfolio and student teaching.
Students must have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher in order to earn a degree.
Gainful Employment Disclosure
The Department of Education passed an initiative designed to protect students from taking on unsustainable debt in order to pay for their education. The data is provided for students of WSCC so students can make an informed choice about a program and the potential for gainful employment of that program. For WSCC, these are programs that are less than an associate’s degree. Click here to view Early Childhood Education Gainful Employment information.
