* In completing a degree in communications, students are encouraged to take a sampling of courses in order to identify their preferred area of specialization. Recommended fields of study to support a degree in communications include literature, speech, languages, history, the humanities, and social sciences. Students should meet with an academic advisor to determine which courses will transfer to the college or university of their choice. The terms of the Michigan Transfer Agreement have been embedded in all AA and AS programs.
