Business programs are designed to help develop your communication skills, improve your ability to solve problems in your specific industry, and explore technology related to your field of study to successfully pursue challenging careers. Business students may gain practical work experience before graduation by completing an internship. The Business faculty bring their outside work experience and their knowledge of the business world into the classroom. Student professional organizations provide additional opportunities to learn outside the classroom setting.

Students interested in Business but unsure of a direct path should start with the WSCC Degree Pathway - Business , which incorporates the requirements of a general Associate of Arts (AA) degree, while offering suggestions for electives in the Business areas. Students may choose to continue toward a general AA degree completion, or may choose to switch to a specific degree or certificate program.
