Prerequisites: Successful completion of NUR 220 /NUR 221 or NUR 240 /NUR 241 and ANP 230 /ANP 231 , BIO 232 , NUR 215 for Transition Students
Corequisites: NUR 254 , NUR 260 /NUR 261 , POL 151 , PHL 104
Considers the role of the professional nurse regarding leadership, delegation, communication skills, interviewing process as well as portfolio building, legal/ethical issues, and role conflict as it pertains to nurses in a diverse setting. Additional topics include: educational needs of a diverse population covering the life‐span, research and evidence based practices in a multidimensional environment.
