Emphasis on patient-centered assessment, examination, effective communication, intervention, treatments including medication administration as directed by a physician. Includes vital signs, collection and documentation off patient information, and sterilization and aseptic technique. Essentials of disease conditions, standard precautions, OSHA guidelines are also practiced.
