People who attend college—any amount of college—earn more over their lifetimes than those who don’t. People who earn two‐year degrees in nearly any field of study experience higher lifetime earnings than those with only some college. And the research also shows it simply continues: the higher the degree, the higher the lifetime earning power.

Do you know how helpful a two‐year degree is? It is the greatest indicator that a person will also complete a bachelor’s degree. What’s even more important for you to know, most students who transfer to four‐year schools after earning two‐year degrees from community colleges do better in their last two years than students who started at four‐year schools.
